Overview
This is a special edition of Super Street Fighter II that was designed for eight player tournament matches. The core gameplay remains the same as the original game, with the main difference being that once matches finish, the winners (and losers) would move to another cabinet to fight against other players in the bracket, until all matches were completed and all players were placed in the match ranking. The game features specialized graphics and audio that are unique to this edition, used in the attract mode, between matches, and when someone wins a tournament. If four machines were not linked together, they could still be used as a standard Super Street Fighter II cabinet.
