Overview
The Return of Lady Frog is an adult-oriented puzzle arcade game released in 1993 by a developer known as Microhard. Despite what the name implies, it is not a direct sequel to the 1990 Frogger clone Lady Frog; instead, it is a hardware hack/bootleg of the popular adult arcade puzzle games Splash! (by Gaelco) and Painted Lady.
The objective of the game revolves around clearing a grid-based playfield to uncover a hidden image:
• Clearing the Board: The player deploys bombs that clear away a 3x3 (nine square) grid from the background, slowly revealing a nude photographic image underneath.
• Obstacles: Barriers block paths, while hazards like moving balloons must be navigated. If a balloon rolls over a bomb right as it explodes, it snuffs out the blast and prevents that section of the background from being cleared.
