Overview
Invaders is inspired by the arcade game Space Invaders and sees the Earth once again invaded by an alien force in this side view single screen shooter. You control a laser platform at the bottom of the screen that can move left or right, and you must blast a wave of aliens in formation above you descending slowly. The aliens move across the screen and when they reach the edge of the screen they move down one place while dropping bombs to destroy yourself. A large alien ship occasionally appears at the top of the screen and can change direction, but if shot gives you bonus points. In between you and the aliens are four large shields but these slowly disappear as you or the aliens hit them but do provide some cover. If you destroy all the aliens then you move to the next wave but get hit by a bomb or allow the aliens to land at the bottom of the screen and you lose one of three lives. Two players can play and each player takes it in turns to play when the other player is killed.
