Zap-Em

Zap-Em is a shooter where you sit at the bottom of the screen moving left or right and blasting aliens moving down the screen in unpredictable patterns, firing back at you. You are also able to thrust forward briefly to avoid aliens moving on the bottom of the screen. The game is a couple of screen lengths wide so a ship location is on the top of the screen showing your position. The longer you play then different attack waves appear and if you touch an alien or get hit by it's bullets then you lose one of three lives.
