Everest

Everest is a managerial strategy game for the Dragon 32/64.

The player organizes a spring or autumn climbing expedition to summit Mount Everest, Lhotse, or Nuptse. At the beginning of the expedition the player must choose the amount of food, tents, oxygen, rope, and ladders to bring, with a total of 1800 lbs of space available. The player has a total of 6 climbers, and each day the player can move each climber to a higher or lower camp. This climber can carry a certain amount of resources, which are needed to keep the climbers healthy. The goal is to get enough resources to the highest camp in the minimal number of days to allow the hikers to summit the mountain. Hikers must have resources to avoid becoming injured during the climb. Random weather events and accidents can affect the climbers.
