Overview
Fairground Fantasy is a text adventure with additional arcade elements for the Dragon 32/64. The young boy Ivor has gone missing at the fairground. The player must find and rescue him. Initially played as a simple text adventure, the player uses text commands to move about the fairground and pick up and use items to solve puzzles. The player starts their adventure with only 6 pence, and must make money and receive clues by besting arcade sequences involving the various fairground games. These include a roulette wheel, pulling objects from a barrel, and test of strength. Ali-Kebab's Magic Carpets will randomly transport the player around the fairground. It's game over if all money is lost.
