Overview
MacDougal's Last Stand is an arcade game for the Dragon 32/64. Jamie MacDougal roams the Scottish Highlands in search of his clan's lost bagpipes. Also on the moors are two sasernacks disguised as computer nasties whose aim is to stop young Jamie. Jamie must navigate the hedges, trying to find the 16 bagpipes hidden over 16 screens. The small red nasty will always head towards the player and shoot at them. They can be destroyed by the player's attack. The player can only attack horizontally, which uses up their limited attack power. Attack power can be replenished by gathering a bagpipe. The larger nasty moves in a set pattern and can not be destroyed. The player moves to the next levels by moving through the gaps in the hedgerows.
