Touchmaster 3000

Overview

The Touchmaster 3000 is a commercial bartop/countertop touchscreen arcade machine released by Midway Games in 1997. Popular in bars, pubs, and restaurants throughout the late 1990s, these compact machines contained a collection of casual, puzzle, and card mini-games designed for short, addictive playthroughs.

The software brochure highlights 23 distinct titles packed into the system, varying between card classics, quick puzzle games, and custom Midway titles. The game selection includes:

• Card & Gambling Games: Strip Poker, Target 21, Solitaire, Triple Elevens, Pyramid 13, Royal Quest, and Pairs.

• Skill & Action Games: Breakout 3000 (also listed as BreakerOut), Hot Hoops, Blast Em, and Shell Shock.

• Strategy & Puzzle Games: Word Search, Dominoes (including Domino Matador and Domino Plus), 3 Peak Deluxe, Double Take, and 5 Star Generals.

• Adult Content: Operators could toggle on explicit "Erotic Games" sections, which included adult-themed versions of titles like Solitaire Erotic and Strip Poker.
