Overview

Legend tells how long ago biomechanical beings from space called Flutter Drones attacked Earth to feed upon men's flesh. After a long battle, the people of Earth were able to drive them back, but the planet and its great cities were destroyed. Earth's people built one great city with a defense system against the drones. A network of towers, each with a scanner designed to seek and eradicate drone packs and air mines with minimum risk to human life, were created. Centuries have passed and only Scanner 13 remains standing, but the drones have come again. The player has entered the final scanner to try to protect the city from the incoming alien menace using the remnants of ancient technology. The player's goal is to scan the entire city for the enemy presence and hidden mines by moving left or right. The player can x-ray an entire city area at any time. If the scanner encounters a mine signal they must quickly hunt the air mine, and fire when discovered. If they hesitate the city is vaporized. If Flutter Drones are encountered, the player must quickly determine if they intend to attack, and then activate defence shields to protect the scanner. There are 3 levels of difficulty, and the player has minimal energy to finish their mission.
