Tougenkyou

Overview

Tougenkyou is an adult puzzle arcade game developed and published by Nihon Bussan in 1989. The title draws its name from the classical Chinese concept of a “Peach Blossom Spring,” an idyllic hidden world, and presents its stages as decorative scenes that gradually reveal images of women as play progresses.

The player removes tiles arranged on the screen by selecting matching combinations based on mahjong-style symbols. When a valid pair is cleared, the tiles disappear to expose portions of a background image. Completing all removals within the time limit advances to the next stage, revealing a new image. The game ends when time runs out or no valid pairs remain.
