Tombs of Doom

Overview

Venture-esque game created by Scott Elder in 1989, that features the usual horror archetypes, and a title-screen that echoes The Monster Squad film and/or the C64 game Scary Monsters.

What you must do first in the main playing screen is guide your man around the evil balloon things that look inspired by TV series The Prisoner into the nine chambers that each contain a gold bar to collect.

The first level has the first two chambers, then at level two repeats these including the third chamber. This pattern continues until you reach the end-screen... the uneven collision adds to the silliness of it all but it's cheesy fun!
