PC Mus

Overview

PC Mus is a simulation video game created by the Spanish development team Círculo A.S.M. in 1996. Initially, the game was distributed exclusively for PC MS-DOS through the company LIT in 2 different formats: 3½ floppy disk and CD.

The game is a mus game simulator, a card game of Spanish origin with more than two hundred years of history that is widely played in countries such as Spain, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and in certain regions of the south of France. Although the game may seem a bit shabby due to its graphics, the truth is that the player can play a game of mus with each and every one of its moves and rules: bets, bluffs, signs, etc.

There are 2 game modes: "Tournament", in which the player must advance through three elimination rounds to win, and "Match", in which the player will play a single game without the possibility of continuing.

PC Mus stars different characters from Spanish entertainment from the early 90s, such as businessmen, politicians, singers and actresses. The player will be able to choose between 7 different characters to play the games.

During the course of the game, other characters may appear, such as the cook Karlos Arguiñano or the comedian Chiquito de la Calzada, although these simply add a touch of humor to the game and are not selectable by the player.
