Overview
“Wan Li Chang Cheng” (万里长城 / Great Wall Mahjong) is a classic Chinese arcade mahjong game originally developed and released by Taiwan’s International Games System (IGS) in 1996.
Because it was an arcade game software kit rather than a dedicated, single-purpose cabinet, it was traditionally installed inside standard generic arcade cabinets (such as Japanese sit-down candy cabs or upright cabinets equipped with mahjong control panels).
It is an arcade gambling/betting style mahjong game. Following older legendary titles like Electronic Base and Sky Opens Eyes, Wan Li Chang Cheng represented a shift in arcade mahjong culture. Later revisions (like the 2011 version) implemented distinct betting tiers, splitting players into high-stakes or low-stakes rollers.
