Overview

Travel the World with Timmy is an educational game. The player joins the alligator Timmy while he visits Kenya, Argentina and Japan with his friends and learns about the local languages. Each country has five activities, four of them are the same for each: - Building a village by selecting a picture (e.g. of an house, people or trees) and a number between 0 and 10. The combination will be placed on the screen. This can be either done freely or by understanding and placing combinations the game specifies as picture and spoken in the local language. - An unfinished story where players finishes sentences to their liking, e.g. "This is a story about ___" and then clicking on - Timmy or his friend. The sentence is either in English or the local language. - Listening to a local song. - A picture book. The three exclusive activities: - Argentina: A turn-based game for one or two players. Each player has a grid of nine pictures and every round, Timmy holds up a picture. If the own grid has the same picture, the player can click on it to convert it to a star. The player who first has three stars in a row, wins the game. - Japan: Another picture book with a theater theme. - Kenya: A Tic Tac Toe variant for one or two players. First the players take turns and place their tokens on a 3x3 grid. The first player who has three of their own tokens in a row, wins the game. When eight tokens are placed without a winner, players choose one of their tokens during their turn which then moves to the empty space.
