Overview
The "Wild Cougar" is a classic 5-reel video slot machine released by Aristocrat Leisure Industries in 1996–1997. Built originally for the casino market rather than a traditional arcade, it quickly became a staple on gaming floors and is highly nostalgic among retro slot collectors. It runs on Aristocrat MKIV and MKV hardware frameworks and was later featured in multi-game machines like the 2007 Cashman Tonight cabinet.
The machine features a North American wilderness theme where the main objective revolves around hitting high-value wild multipliers and specific reel combinations.
