Overview

Yearn2Learn: Snoopy is an educational game using characters from the Peanuts franchise. It features five games divided into math games and word games: - Bus Ride: determining with addition and subtraction how many kids ride the bus. The results are always between one and ten and can be chosen with the mouse. - Darts: This is the only game which can be optionally played with two players. The player aims at a dart board by choosing one of nine directions with the mouse. After three throws, the results have to be added up and typed in with the keyboard. There are ten regular and three tournament difficulties. - Cookie Time: Multiplying or dividing cookies. There are ten difficulty levels. - ABC: The game shows six footballs (the American variety) which all have a single letter. Then the game narrates one of the letters and the player has to click on the correct football. This game is available with both lower case and upper case letters. - Spelling Ace: Snoopy sits on his flying doghouse and the player drags him over the screen with the mouse. In addition, letters come flying in from the right side of the screen. The goal is to collect letters (and avoid the wrong ones) in order to spell a specific word. There are ten difficulty levels. In addition, there are three non-game activities: - Comic Strips: This section features four comic stories. In each panel, the player can click on persons or items to trigger animations. - Music Fun: The player can listen to songs and compose new ones. - Face Maker: Viewing a number of faces (which one is displayed is determined with a slot machine) and changing them with drawing tools.
