Search and Rescue

A game by Jeremy Hammett from the book "Best of PCW Software for the Commodore 64", published in 1984. Can you save the 20 survivors of a marine disaster from certain death by drowning? You are the pilot of a Search and Rescue helicopter with the daunting task of finding and saving the survivors from the wrecked ship Commodore. You must do this by maneuvering your helicopter to a point above the boats, and then dropping a rope for the survivor to climb up. Once aboard fly back to shore and drop him off.
