Overview
A racing themed love/relationship simulation game, Darling Special Backlash: Ai no Exhaust Heat (the steamy subtitle translates to Exhaust Heat of Love) follows the exploits of a team of young male drivers, who compete for the racing group Team Angstrom. Since the (unseen) main character is a girl with the customizable name of Hitomi, gameplay consists of conversations with said male drivers like Kei Kakami, Arthur Kouka Nagazawa, and Hayato Takashima. Conversations lead to specific events and story twists, which in turn, lead to different types of endings. Will you find happiness? The original release was available in two different versions, a standard one and a box set with an additional music CD.
