Overview

In 1993, Beyond Games prepared a near-complete demo of CyberVirus for potential publishers. Now, you can play these missions for the very first time! This cartridge features 9 all-new, never published missions from the original CyberVirus build submitted to publishers in 1993 for evaluation. The mission text, maps, and objectives are completely unique compared to the version published by Songbird many years later. All the game features you would expect are here: title screens, music, mission briefing, sound f/x, enemies, destructible buildings, terrain, overhead map, multiple weapons, and health indicator. Some missions are very challenging while others are straightforward. The only thing missing from the game is a proper GAME OVER screen; instead, you get a brief GAME OVER message in the final mission briefing, then it takes you back to repeat the last mission again if you choose. Includes cartridge, instructions, and CyberVirus game box with custom LOST MISSIONS sticker. Controls Mission briefing A: advance the briefing text and start the mission B: go back to the previous briefing text Opt 1: skip to the next mission In-game Joypad: move/rotate Up + Opt 2: run forward A: fire weapon B: display map (objectives highlighted in red) Opt 1: cycle weapons Reset: return to the mission briefing Are you ready to stand in the breach once again? Your country is counting on you, soldier!
