Overview
The first pack, from the School Software line, is a mini-adventure called "The Three Bears." Inspired by numerous fairy tales, including "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," the authors have created a simple graphic adventure set in a mythical world populated by talking cats, wizards, wicked witches and dark dungeons. This graphic adventure aims to rescue three bear cubs from the clutches of the wicked witch who captured them after they got lost in the forest.
A map shows you where you are and where you can go. As you progress, you encounter friends and foes who offer help or ask for things. Progress in the game depends on completing certain tasks in a specific order. For example, if you don't pick up the key when you find it, you won't be able to open an important door elsewhere, which will hinder any progress.
This type of gameplay strategy is beneficial for children's development. an understanding of sequence and logic and encourages forward planning.
