Erdkunde 1

Erdkunde 1 (Geography I) is an educational program of the M&T software series "Learning by playing!" The topics are wide-ranged. It covers the entire Federal Republic of Germany including the new federal states. The learning part provides information about the historical development of cities, the geographic location of rivers, industrial development, sights and much more. It was created by Harry Herweg, Holger Manz of CD-Soft using The Director and published by Markt & Technik in 1991.

The quiz contains 300 different questions about the items described in the tutorial. In addition, some questions about general knowledge about Germany are built in. The questions are asked in such a way that a learning effect is also achieved when guessing. Using the boxes A, B, C, and D, the possible correct answer is selected with the left mouse button. If the answer is incorrect, the correct answer is displayed and the option is left to compare the question with the correct answer.
