Overview

A shareware action game created by Paul Fortin, as C&P Software in 1988. Cat & Mouse is a game for kids 6 to 99 years old. It will entertain you for hours on end (We Hope). I got hooked on the game after I was introduced to it on the TI-99, and I hope that you will like it just as much as I did. Cat & Mouse is a game of hand/eye coordination. The aim of the game is very simple: STAY ALIVE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. BUT (because there always has to be a BUT) as in real life, the more you eat the slower you will go and that's what your deadly opponents the Cats are hoping for. Also, if you don't eat enough you will loose your reserves of energy and either die or get caught. Also like in real life, you only have one life to live... The mouse is controlled by joystick. The gauge of how well you have done is in the time that you manage to stay alive(i.e.: 60 seconds is a good game, and 90 seconds is entering the expert category. As time progresses, the speed increases and the cats since they get there proper exercise become better mousers. Also since all that running is good for you, you will lose weight 5lbs every 5 seconds. Happy Mousing!!!
