Overview
WWE Brawl was a sequel to WWE All-Stars and was supposed to be developed by Altron. Publisher THQ went bankrupt and lost the rights to the WWE and the Brand's Superstars and Divas after many published games they’ve done for over a decade. This was probably because their licenses to it expired.
WWE Brawl was supposed to be WWE’s version of cartoony fighting video games such as Super Smash Bros. and Power Stone.
