Rocket Raid

Overview

Rocket Raid was written by Jonathan Griffiths and released in 1983 by Acornsoft for the BBC Microcomputer.

It is a side scrolling shoot 'em up and a variant of Scramble. The player has to fly his space craft through a cave that consists of five sections each with different hazards and enemies. Enemies include rockets launching from the ground, small green aliens and indestructible meteoroids that have to be dodged. There are two weapons to use: a gun that shoots forward and bombs that can be dropped on building on the ground. The player has three lives but can earn more by reaching certain scores.
