Fun House Maze

Overview

Fun House Maze is a pattern recognition and maze game for the Apple II.

Played from a 1st person perspective, the player must successfully navigate a maze from start to finish. The catch is that each maze has a specific pattern which must be followed to exit. There are 5 difficulty levels, and on easy levels, the pattern could be as simple as continually forwards, or exiting on an angle. On more difficult levels, the pattern can be 7 - 8 steps. If the player becomes lost, they are sent back to the start of the maze. If the player is stumped on a maze, they can request a hint on the pattern, or even a map of the maze.

After completing a maze without help, the player is treated to a 3 door guessing game, where each will contain either an elephant, a clown, or an ape.
