Overview
Shifty Sam is a 1 - 2 player word construction game for the Apple II. Shifty Sam challenges the player to make a set number of words within 90 seconds by scrambling the letters in a 7-letter word. Shifty Sam gives the player a hint of how many words are possible before the game begins, and the player can opt to try to find more words than Shifty requests for a bonus prize. The player starts with $500, and if they meet Shifty's challenge, their money increases. If successful, Shifty offers the player the chance to double their winnings by finding even more words. There are 3 levels of difficulty.
