Overview
Galaxy Wars II is a rare, historical arcade machine released in 1981 by the Spanish manufacturer Sonic (Sega S.A. / Electrónica Sonic). Despite its title, the game is actually a bootleg clone of Williams' famous side-scrolling shooter Defender, rather than a sequel to Universal's Galaxy Wars.
It features a full clone playthrough of the classic Defender mechanics, where players control a spaceship flying horizontally through a scrolling landscape, defending astronauts from invading aliens.
