Overview

Firebug is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro and Electron. As the fireman on duty, the player has been called out to a warehouse where a firebug is attempting to burn it down. The warehouse is full of buckets of flammable liquid, and the player's goal is to carry the liquid to the vat of water to keep it safe. The player can pick up fire extinguishers to put out flames, but can only carry liquid or a fire extinguisher at a time. If the fire spreads to a vat of flammable liquid, the temperature raises 10°C, and if the temperature hits 100°C it's game over. The player can climb ladders, walk on platforms, and jump over flames. If the player hits a danger they fall to the bottom of the screen. The player advances to the next level when all vats of flammable liquid are removed from a level.
