Pillage Village

Overview

Pillage Village was a graphics adventure game written by Stuart and Rick, and published by Software Marketing Services in 1982 for the Apple ][. It's a typical treasure hunt adventure, in which the player needs to find several items in the game and drop them at a specific spot. I found this game interesting because it seems to an independent game created by two guys and powered by a very primitive parser written in BASIC, yet it has a complex map with 129 rooms and provides the ability to operate vehicles (car, boat, and raft) in the game, an unique feature for adventure games at that time.
