By placing characters in a fixed pattern throughout the screen, it is possible to play with their individual graphics patterns to create seemingly random, yet symmetrical, screen patterns. In this program, we have designed several characters with squiggly lines. When placed on the screen, they appear to resemble the inside of an old log which has been half-eaten by worms. Hence the title of our program: Wormwood. Game by William K. Balthrop released in Home Computer Magazine Vol5, issue 1.
