Pokémon Altered Platinum

Pokémon Altered Platinum is a Platinum hack that overhauls the Sinnoh experience for fun and freshness. It introduces 30 fully redesigned Sinnohan forms, re imagines many existing Pokémon, and raises overall power levels so most Pokémon are viable.

The Ice type is revamped, losing its Rock weakness and gaining new resistances, while game play is more challenging without reaching Kaizo difficulty. Effort values (EVs) are removed, keeping NPCs and players on roughly equal footing. Gym Leaders no longer stick to a single type; their teams are built around unique gimmicks.

New moves with custom animations, signature abilities, recolored shiny Pokémon, updated NPC dialogue, and expanded lore for the Sinnohan forms enrich the game world. The post game features a new boss comparable to Renegade Platinum’s Steven Stone. This is the creator’s first romhack, with a focus on fun and creativity throughout.
