Amidst the hustle and bustle of an urban street intersection, an alley cat (controlled with the mouse) tries to forage for something tasty and sustaining. Pedestrians throng in and out of the crosswalks continually, and often a delectable container of take-out will just be abandoned in the middle of the road. The objective is to move and maneuver the cat to the food before a counter (measuring freshness, perhaps?) ticks down from 1000 to 100, indicating the amount of points it is worth to the cat. No big problem, save that if the cat makes contact with a pedestrian, the game is over. This can be managed using an unusual strategic dynamic, pedestrians only moving while the cat does. Periodically a power-up will appear, a white ball, allowing the cat to emit a circle that repels pedestrians. This is invoked by clicking the mouse, but they are few and far between. A maximum of three of the power-ups can be stockpiled, but progressive gameplay ensures that pedestrian density will only increase as the game goes on.
