Overview

TETRIS'D: The Game is an Avoid game by KobraEditing. It is based on his popular series of "T E T R I S ' D" animations, which is in turn based on the massively successfull game Tetris, created by Alexy Pajitnov and Vadim Gerasimov, originally for the Electronika 60. Other than a brief tutorial, the player's only option is to play the main game with the aim of a high score. The player's goal is simple: their stick figure character must avoid being crushed by falling tetrads. The character is capable of the standard running and jumping found in most platforming games, and can be controlled using either the A, W, and D keys, or the arrow keys. However, the stickman also has two special moves. One, the Wall Jump, is activated using the J key. This will allow the player to jump off of the side of a tetrad while in air, and is useful for getting out of chasms. The second, the roll ability, is activated by the K key. This allows the player to grab onto a tetrad and roll up onto it. It allows the player to get out of harm's way much more easily than jumping.
