Overview

The third in a series of maze puzzle games games from Mark Page, Daniel Leyden and the Mad Phantom, collectively known as first Kryptic then as Cybernetix. While the first two entries of the game were freeware, this one was released as Shareware in 1992. Like the first two, the aim of the game here is simply to get from point A to point B. The problem is that you have to take the kind of circuitous route that involves visiting every other point from C to Z and well into Greek alphabet territory as well. Escape 2 is a futuristic puzzler featuring matter transporters, vanishing tiles, switches which operate sliding doors (usually on the other side of the screen) and tight time limits.
