Overview
Fan-Tas-Tic is a notable electro-mechanical pinball machine released by Williams Electronic Games in September 1972. Designed by Norm Clark with psychedelic artwork by Christian Marche, roughly 5,680 units were produced.
The game's standout feature is an integrated roulette wheel beneath the playfield. When a ball enters one of the three eject holes, the motor spins a captive ball for roughly two seconds, awarding points, lighting lanes, or multiplying bonuses based on where it stops. It also features a rare pop bumper located directly between the flippers. This allows a ball that appears to be "draining" to be kicked back up into the playfield, making it a favorite for players who like to nudge the machine for saves.
