Pupu

Overview

A brand new puzzle game based on the popular game from 1990 named Puzznic.

The only way to restore the harmony of Arcanis is to solve 100 enchanted puzzles, each more challenging than the last. Brave souls must summon all their wit and determination, for only through these trials can the curse be lifted, and peace returned to the land.

The game is one of those that were made with the TSB (Tuned Simons’ Basic) BASIC extension for the Commodore 64. The aim of the game is to slide shapes of the same shape and colour directly next to each other in increasingly complex positions. This is done by pointing at one while holding down the fire button and moving sideways in either direction. Because of the different platforms, it is also important to take gravity into account when choosing sequences.

The game’s 100 maps of varying difficulty are accompanied by a password system and a map editor, which are explained in detail in the .pdf manuals that come with the game.
