Overview

Based on the popular TV show Sabrina, The Teenage Witch: Spellbound sets out a goal for the player to become a full-fledged, licensed witch. The player begins the game with a witchcraft learner's permit and must successfully complete 7 spells in order to graduate to the next level. In the opening adventure, Sabrina's black cat Salem tricks Sabrina into turning herself into a pumpkin. It is up to the player to scavenge the ingredients necessary to reverse the spell gone awry. As a witch in training, the player has a number of basic tools for finding and identifying magic ingredients. Further, the player can refer to the online magic reference book with Drell (a character from the TV show) narrating. The game allows exploration of colorful, interactive environments in order to complete the game goals. Sabrina's world, including her bedroom and school, is filled with challenging games and puzzles from Drell's wacky "Wheel of Misfortune!" Use Sabrina's hilarious Magic Tools, including Truth Sprinkles, Monster Drops, the Time Ball, the Crazy Camera and more -- but be forewarned: use them incorrectly and it's off to the Realm for you! It includes the actual voices of Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina), Nick Bakay (Salem the Cat) and many of the show's characters, including wise Aunt Zelda, flirty Aunt Hilda, Harvey and even Libby.
