Overview

The year is 3022. The United Planets Ship, the Avalon 1, is drifting through the outer reaches of the known universe. Colonel Ardon C. Striker and his crew land on a planet and discover a device in an ancient outpost. When they activate it a wormhole opens, connecting the device with a distant planet: "Earth". Several million years ago an ancient race of advanced humanoid beings created this device, capable of near-instantaneous transportation across the universe with a subspace wormhole. This device has been used by countless races since its creation. Turrican, a mutant bio-engineered warrior, has the task of planetary reclamation, by eliminating the hostile machines TERMINATOR on planet Earth, and, finally, destroying SKYNET.
