Overview
Aladino is an action game loosely based on the tale of Aladdin. The protagonist must recover a set of magic lamps hidden throughout each level and bring them to a waiting djinn, progressing through three stages and a final boss in order to rescue a captured girl.
Levels are presented in an isometric layout composed of interconnected rooms, each containing enemies, obstacles, and environmental objects. The player can move forward, turn left or right, and crouch, but cannot walk backward. To complete a level, all required lamps must be collected; some lie openly in rooms, while others are revealed by pushing barrels or stones. After the lamps are gathered, the player must locate the djinn to exit the level.
Enemies appear in increasing variety across stages—including rats, gangsters, scorpions, and later flying eyes—and reduce the player’s health on contact. Some can be avoided, while others are defeated using sword attacks. Certain jars provide special effects, such as healing or clearing all enemies in the room. Each level has a fixed time limit, and play ends if it expires.
