Firestorm

In FireStorm, players assume the role of a pilot returning home after a long-range test flight, only to find their home system under attack by the Nk'Tawe Empire. The game challenges players to fight through waves of enemy forces in a shoot 'em up format as they attempt to reclaim their world and resist the siege.

Developed as a side project, FireStorm was completed in 1996 and offered to several publishers but was never picked up. A shareware release was considered, but the game was ultimately shelved as other projects took priority. In 2024, FireStorm was made available to the public as part of the eXoDOS collection.
