Warhammer 40000: Dark Crusaders

Overview

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Crusaders is an unreleased first-person shooter set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

In the game, players command a squadron of Space Marines from the Dark Crusaders chapter across 15 missions, engaging various enemies of the Imperium. The gameplay combines traditional FPS mechanics with squad-based strategy elements, allowing players to issue commands to their team during missions.

The game was completed in 1996 but ultimately canceled by Mindscape before release due to concerns over gameplay quality. Some of its full-motion video sequences were later repurposed for Warhammer: Final Liberation, a turn-based tactics game released the next year.
