Originally released as a homebrew game via AtariAge in 2013, this 7800 port of Frenzy was repackaged as an official release by Atari in 2024, as part of the launch of the Atari 7800+. The Atari 7800+ is an updated replica of the 7800 that supports Atari 2600 and Atari 7800 emulation and physical cartridge support.
