IBS Starsearcher

IBS Starsearcher is a space simulation game where players command an Inter-galactic BattleShip to defend United Earth. Using the Captain's Command Computer (CCC), players issue commands to navigate space, manage ship resources, and engage enemy vessels.

The gameplay revolves around strategic resource management, including assigning crew members to specific ship functions and deploying weapons like lasers, anti-matter missiles, and neutrino torpedoes. Success depends on careful planning and tactical decision-making through a text-based command interface.

The game serves as an introductory experience in the IBS series, which also includes shareware titles IBS Guardian and IBS Pegasus.
