Overview
Dark and Darker is set in a dark medieval fantasy world. The game combines dungeon exploration with combat and treasure hunting. Players pick from different character classes, such as fighter, wizard, or rogue, and explore dangerous areas filled with monsters and traps. At the same time, they must watch out for other players who can attack them. Players need to find escape routes to leave the dungeon safely before the area becomes too dangerous.
The gameplay uses a first-person view and features both melee weapons and magic. Players can form groups to help each other survive and collect valuable loot. Any items collected can be kept for later or traded with others. However, if a player dies, they lose everything they were carrying.
