Overview
I Spy Spooky Mansion Deluxe is the eighth I Spy PC game, released 12 September 2004 on CD-ROM for Windows and Macintosh systems. It was developed by both Scholastic and Black Hammer Productions, then published by the former. The game is an adaption of the 1996 picture book I Spy Spooky Night. It is a remaster of, a reimagining of, and an expansion upon the original 1999 I Spy Spooky Mansion game. Deluxe primarily includes two more scenarios, 13 more riddles, and overhauls or updates to nine rooms. It also adds new voice lines for the host character Skeleton (provided by Amy Birnbaum), new sound effects and transitional music, a UI lift, and a higher color depth. However, the Deluxe version removed the Make Your Own I Spy feature from the first game.
