Overview
Sonic CD Restored is a unique Remaster that focuses on restoring the original faster gameplay from the Sega CD version of the game. Every level can be completed faster than in the Steam version of the game via the restored routes, jumps, or abilities that had either been removed or toned down. Secondarily Sonic CD Restored also restores fidelity to the game's FMVs/SFX/Music along with corrections to improperly imported sprites and palette cycles, making CD-R an idealized version of Sonic CD in every category.
