Overview
It's a strike! Knock down the targets like bowling pins and ride the score lane to a perfect score.
Strike is an enjoyable but fairly simple solid state pinball table with a bowling theme, released by Zaccaria in September 1978.
The playfield is defined by its focus on precision, featuring two flippers, three pop bumpers, and a central eight-bank drop target assembly designed to mimic bowling pins. Players earn points primarily by clearing the drop target banks.
While themed around bowling, the aesthetic reflects the late 1970s transition from electro-mechanical (EM) to solid-state technology, emphasizing "aiming" rather than complex ramps found in later eras.
