Galactic Gliders plus Spartan

Galactic Gliders Plus Spartan is a compilation of two arcade games.

In Spartan, the player controls an underwater scuba diver who can swim rapidly upwards, and sink slowly downwards. The player combats seahorses, sea turtles, and other aquatic creatures which move rapidly about the sea. If the player lands on top of an enemy, the enemy is destroyed, and turns into a diamond, which then has to be collected. If the player is struck by a creature on the sides or from above, the player loses a life. The player combats progressively more difficult stages when they have cleared all creatures from the previous one. The player starts with 5 lives, and when all are lost, it's game over.

In Galactic Gliders the player controls an alien creature which can walk horizontally on the bottom of the screen and fire vertically upwards. The player combats rounds of alien creatures who move about the screen. If all creatures are destroyed during a round, the player advances to a more difficult challenge. If the player is struck by an enemy, they lose a life, and the level is reset. The player starts with three lives, and when all are lost, it's game over.
