Once upon a time, there was a girl with green hair named Emeralda. And somehow it so happened that all the slimes (outlandish creatures that look like living balls of slime) in the forest, including their big leader, turned on her. Emeralda could not leave it all like that and decided to teach these comrades a lesson by throwing magic. Or maybe she had some personal scores to settle or just decided to show off... Yes, this is about the plot of Emerald Fantasy 2. What can you do, you have to come up with it yourself, since they don't explain it at all. The main character is a sorceress who wields the magic of light, water, ice and fire. At the beginning, however, it was quite so-so. But during the passage, magic chests with spell enhancers up to the fourth level of power (without the possibility of choice) are found in secluded places. And if at first our shells are weak and fly only in a straight line (with the exception of fire, it hits with a canopy), then with the search for the cherished treasures, both the zone of destruction and the power increase - all this with a corresponding change in animation. If desired, the level of magic can be changed on the fly between maximum and minimum. For some reason.
In terms of gameplay, Emerald Fantasy 2 is a standard arcade platformer with a single forest level and a boss at the end that is practically helpless. We run (the longer we hold the directional key, the faster), jump (the height is directly proportional to the speed, by the way), dodge opponents, shoot various flashes at slimes, which causes them to tear into multi-colored lumps of slime, collect healing and point-bearing fruits. For some reason, the score is called experience here, although it does not affect anything, and there is no table of records. There are also rudiments of tactics: slimes of one element are slightly more vulnerable to spells of the opposite element. For example, it is better to beat the red ones with water. However, towards the end of the level, that is, the game, a pumped spell of any school will be able to destroy all living things on an industrial scale.
