The Axe of Kolt

The Axe of Kolt is a text adventure game set in a fantasy world with wizards, dwarves, and witches, where players take the role of Alaric Blackmoon, a penniless ex-mercenary soldier. After leaving the town of Greenwych and hitching a ride to the village of Hengemire, Alaric begins a quest to find a lost magical weapon, the Axe of Kolt, that changes his life.

Players type commands to explore, interact with objects, and solve challenging puzzles that require lateral thinking. The game is split into four parts, with objects often having multiple uses to progress through the story.
